PLUMB CLAW HATCHET INV0410

This is a Plumb claw hatchet. The markings on the hatchet head indicate that it was made between 1917 & 1920. The handle is strong & sturdy. The bottom of the handle is stamped with 2972 indicating that this is most likely the original handle.

The patina on the head and the aging on the handle seem to suggest that this hatchet was used very little and was well looked after and protected from the elements.
