Availability: 1 in stock

The Stanley Yankee 68-130 (also known as the 130A) is a classic, heavy-duty spiral ratcheting “push” screwdriver. By pushing down on the handle, an internal helical spiral mechanism drives the bit, allowing you to fasten or remove screws quickly without twisting your wrist.
Key Features & Specs
  • Action: Features a spring-loaded quick-return mechanism that extends the handle automatically after each downward push.
  • Modes: A selector switch allows you to lock the spiral for manual use, or set it to ratchet forward (drive) or reverse (remove).
  • Handle: Originally manufactured with a solid wood handle, later variants shifted to heavy-duty, high-impact plastics.
  • Bit Chuck: Takes traditional 9/32-inch Yankee-style bits.
  • Legacy: These are no longer manufactured by Stanley, but remain highly sought after by collectors, woodworkers, and tradespeople.
Common Uses & Modern Upgrades
Because it speeds up repetitive fastening, it is highly favored for cabinetry, electrical work, and delicate woodworking.
  • Modern Bits: The 68-130 natively accepts slotted, vintage Phillips, and various other specialized Yankee-style bits. However, you can purchase Yankee Hex Adapters to allow the tool to accept modern, standard 1/4-inch hex bits
