This is a 12 inch dial caliper. Made in China. The caliper comes in a wooden box and is well protected with foam padding. The calipers appear to be in good working order and show very little signs of use. There is a sticker of certification on the back of the caliper dating back to 1994, making this set of calipers atleast 28 years old. Appears to be in excellent condition for its age.

My knowledge regarding these tools may be limited, however, rest assured that Vintage Resurrection extensively researches, examines and tests each item. The testing of items goes as so far that they can perform their basic duties.
A surface gauge and dial indicator, for example, are tested so far as to ensure the surface gauge sits sturdily, that all arms and attachments appear to be present and operational, & that the dial indicator is able to be zeroed and reactive to pressure as it should.
Another example would be the testing of transits. Transits are tested as far as the telescope functions and focuses as it should.
